Complete our initial application so we can learn about your experience, qualifications, and passion for supporting children and families.

Our team carefully reviews your application to see how your experience and approach to childcare fit with our standards. If we see potential, we’ll either invite you to continue.

Safety and trust are everything. We verify your references and online presence to ensure you bring professionalism, reliability, and a caring attitude to every placement. This step helps families feel confident in your abilities.

Once you pass our review and checks, you officially join the Little Guardians team! You’ll gain access to opportunities with families that align with your skills, schedule, and caregiving style. Many caregivers work with multiple families, but we also aim to keep you with the same children whenever possible to build consistent, familiar care.

We connect you with families and coordinate the care schedule. Some families may want an interview, while others will place you directly for the timeframe of care they need. Either way, we make sure the match feels right and that expectations are clear from the start.

Once matched, you receive all the family details you need: routines, schedules, care notes, and any special instructions. From your first day forward, we’re here to support you and the family, making sure everything runs smoothly and that you feel confident and appreciated in your role.
Caregiver placements are designed to focus on the children you’re caring for. Bringing your own child is generally not allowed, unless explicitly agreed upon with the family in advance.
Timing depends on your experience, availability, and the current needs of families. Some caregivers are placed quickly, while others may wait for the perfect match. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
Yes! Parenting experience is valuable and can count toward your caregiving qualifications, though professional experience is also considered when matching you with families.
Whenever possible, we aim to provide consistent care by matching caregivers with the same children and families. However, caregivers may also work with multiple families depending on availability and assignments.
Caregivers are required to have current First Aid and CPR certification. Beyond that, experience, reliability, and a caring attitude are what families and Little Guardians value most.
No. Hours are based on the needs of the families you are matched with. While some caregivers work consistent schedules with the same families, placements may vary, and hours can change depending on family requests and availability.
Yes! You are never obligated to accept a placement. If a family or schedule doesn’t feel like a good fit, you can decline, and we’ll continue connecting you with other opportunities.
